Beth Gêlert, or the Grave of the Greyhound
'Beth Gêlert, or the Grave of the Greyhound' Summary
One day, Llywelyn returned from a hunt to find his infant son dead in his crib, and his faithful hound covered in blood. In a fit of rage, Llywelyn slew his hound, only to discover that his son had been killed by a wolf, and that Beth Gêlert had been defending the child. Llywelyn was overcome with remorse and grief, and he buried Beth Gêlert with great honor. The story of Beth Gêlert is a reminder of the power of love and loyalty, and the importance of not judging too hastily.Book Details
