Le livre d'Esther se déroule en Perse, dans la ville de Suse, sous le règne d'Assuérus. L'histoire suit Esther, une jeune femme juive élevée par son cousin Mardochée, qui est choisie pour devenir la nouvelle reine du royaume. Cependant, la reine Esther se retrouve confrontée à un danger imminent lorsque Aman, le premier ministre, nourrit une haine profonde pour les Juifs et obtient un édit royal condamnant à mort tous les Juifs de l'empire. Esther, consciente du danger, use de sa position de reine pour intercéder auprès du roi et sauver son peuple. Avec l'aide de Mardochée, elle révèle les intentions d'Aman et le convainc d'annuler l'édit. En fin de compte, Aman et ses fils sont exécutés, Mardochée est élevé à un poste de pouvoir et les Juifs célébrant leur libération grâce à l'intervention divine.Book Details
