'Blue Bird for Children' Summary
One Christmas Eve, two children named Tyltil and Mytil are visited by the Fairy Berylune. The Fairy's granddaughter is sick, and can only be saved by the Blue Bird of Happiness. The children are given a magic hat that allows them to see the souls of things, and set off on a journey to find the Blue Bird. Along the way, they meet many different characters, both good and evil, and learn about the importance of love, hope, and happiness. Finally, they find the Blue Bird, and return it to the Fairy. The Fairy's granddaughter is healed, and the children are rewarded for their bravery and kindness.Book Details
