La Chasse-galerie, ou le canot enchanté, est un conte populaire québécois qui raconte l'histoire de bûcherons qui font un pacte avec le diable pour faire voler leur canot afin de rendre visite à leurs femmes. Pour réussir, ils doivent éviter de blasphémer, ne pas heurter les clochers d'une église et être de retour avant six heures du matin. Sinon, ils perdront leurs âmes. Ce conte est une version canadienne-française de la Chasse Sauvage, une légende européenne. Honoré Beaugrand a écrit la version la plus connue de ce conte.Book Details
