'Cinema Murder' Summary
In E. Phillips Oppenheim's "Cinema Murder," a struggling art teacher named Phillip Romilly finds himself entangled in a web of deceit and murder. After discovering his wealthy cousin, Douglas, is having an affair with his girlfriend, Beatrice, Phillip takes drastic action, killing Douglas and assuming his identity. This act of desperation lands Phillip in New York City, where he quickly uncovers the extent of Douglas's financial problems and discovers that he was also trying to escape his own troubles.
