'Dan, the Newsboy' Summary
Dan Carter is a poor boy who lives with his mother in New York City. His father died when he was young, and his mother works long hours to support the family. Dan helps out by selling newspapers on the street. He is a hard worker and is always honest, even when it is difficult. One day, Dan meets a wealthy man named Mr. Warren. Mr. Warren is impressed by Dan's honesty and offers him a job. Dan accepts the job and works hard to prove himself. He eventually becomes a successful businessman and is able to provide a better life for himself and his mother.Book Details
