Delftsche Wonderdokter
'Delftsche Wonderdokter' Summary
Juliaan is a "bald jonker" - a young man of good family who has hit rock bottom. Mabelia Graswinckel is a Delft girl who is promised as a bride to her cousin Antony Hogenhoeck. Her uncle, Dr. Graswinckel (also known as the Delft Wonder Doctor, or Jacob Janz Boot), is a doctor who lives as a recluse and is known as a benefactor to the poor. Juliaan, who travels the country with a destitute group of mercenaries in search of work, is offered a handsome reward by a mysterious benefactor if he and his troop carry out an assignment. That is just the beginning of an adventure full of complications.Book Details
