'Dernier des Mohicans' Summary
L'histoire commence par l'arrivée de Cora et Alice Munro, deux jeunes sœurs, au fort William Henry avec leur père, le colonel Munro, qui commande la garnison. Le fort est assiégé par l'armée française menée par le général Montcalm, et les sœurs Munro sont prises en otage. Hawkeye, un trappeur et pisteur expérimenté, s'engage à les sauver, accompagné de l'Indien Uncas, le dernier de sa tribu Mohican. Pendant leur fuite à travers la nature sauvage, Hawkeye et Uncas doivent affronter les dangers de la forêt, les soldats français et les guerriers iroquois alliés aux Français.
