Emily of New Moon

Emily of New Moon

by Lucy Maud Montgomery

Emily Starr, ten years old and recently orphaned, moves in with her aunts and experiences the ups and downs of preteen life in a small town, including starting and ending friendships, boy drama, school and discovering her lifelong passion for writing. By the author of Anne of Green Gables. The Emily books are considered more autobiographical than any of Montgomery's other works. (I'll write an actual summary later.) I'm so excited to be back (although not as active as before) and to be recording this! I read the 2nd book (Emily Climbs) for Legamus a while back and am slowly working on the third and last one (Emily's Quest) so I thought it would be fun to have the whole series done :) I doubt this will be the only version started this year but that's all right This will be a very slow project as I have less time than I did when I was 12 :P although I'm hoping to get a few chapters done this week while I'm on Christmas vacation. I have a very special place in my heart for LMM's books and I'm so freaking happy to get back to recording with her books! :D - Summary by Rachel
