Emily of New Moon
'Emily of New Moon' Summary
Emily, a young orphan, is sent to live with her two great-aunts in the small town of New Moon. At first, she is shy and withdrawn, but she soon begins to make friends and discover her passion for writing. She faces challenges along the way, including a mean-spirited cousin and a difficult teacher, but she learns to overcome them with the help of her friends and family. As she grows older, Emily becomes more confident and independent, and she begins to dream of a future as a writer. The book ends with Emily leaving New Moon to attend college, but she promises to return someday to the place where she found her voice.Book Details
