Fifty Cents

Fifty Cents

by Billy Mortimer

Fifty Cents is a sentimental poem about a little boy who sees a street urchin begging for money. The boy is poor himself, but he gives the urchin his last fifty cents. The urchin is grateful and uses the money to buy a loaf of bread. The poem is a reminder that even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference in someone's life.
