'Gemeindekind' Summary
Gemeindekind erzählt die Geschichte zweier Geschwister, Pavel und Maria, die zu Waisen werden, nachdem ihr Vater hingerichtet und ihre Mutter inhaftiert wurde. Pavel wird von einer grausamen und ausbeuterischen Familie aufgenommen, während Maria das Glück hat, eine gütige und wohlhabende Patronin zu finden. Im Laufe der Jahre kämpft Pavel darum, das Stigma des Verbrechens seines Vaters und den Missbrauch, den er erlitten hat, zu überwinden. Maria hingegen blüht in ihrem neuen Zuhause auf, sehnt sich aber danach, mit ihrem Bruder wiedervereinigt zu werden. Schließlich kreuzen sich ihre Wege wieder, und Pavel muss sich seiner Vergangenheit stellen und eine Entscheidung treffen, die seine Zukunft bestimmen wird.Book Details
