House Of The Arrow
'House Of The Arrow' Summary
In "House of the Arrow," a young English girl is accused of murdering her French aunt in Dijon. Inspector Hanaud, a stout professional policeman from the French Sûreté, is called upon to investigate the murder. Hanaud, who is the opposite of Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes, relies on psychological insights rather than physical evidence in his investigations. The retired London banker, Mr. Julius Ricardo, serves as his "Watson", though he appears only briefly in this novel. Hanaud must use all his skills to uncover the truth and clear the young girl's name.Book Details
