Mask

Mask

by Florence Irwin

Alison Terry, a young woman with a sheltered upbringing, moves to New York City with her husband Phil. Their life in the city is a stark contrast to their former existence, filled with disillusionment as they encounter the harsh realities of urban life and the less desirable elements of society. The loss of their child, a tragic accident fueled by Phil's recklessness, becomes a turning point in their relationship. Through shared grief and hardship, Alison and Phil find a path toward forgiveness, mutual understanding, and ultimately, love and hope for the future. 'The Mask' explores themes of societal pressures, personal growth, and the strength of human connection in the face of adversity.
