'Ὁμήρου Ὀδύσσεια (Ραψῳδία 22) - The Odyssey (Book 22)' Summary
The book begins with Odysseus arriving at his home disguised as a beggar. He is recognized by his old dog, Argos, and by his nurse, Eurycleia. He reveals his identity to his son, Telemachus, and together they plan to kill the suitors. Odysseus devises a plan to have a contest of archery, and he is the only one who can string his own bow. He then kills all of the suitors in a bloody battle, with the help of Telemachus and two loyal servants. After the suitors are dead, Odysseus is reunited with Penelope and his father, Laertes.Book Details
