'Odisea' Summary
La Odisea comienza con Odiseo, rey de Ítaca, varado en la isla de Calipso, una ninfa que lo retiene cautivo. Mientras tanto, en Ítaca, los pretendientes se disputan la mano de Penélope, la esposa de Odiseo, quien se niega a casarse hasta que no tenga certeza de la muerte de su esposo. Telémaco, el hijo de Odiseo, emprende un viaje para buscar noticias sobre su padre, mientras que Odiseo finalmente escapa de la isla de Calipso gracias a la intervención de Atenea, la diosa de la sabiduría. En su viaje de regreso, Odiseo enfrenta numerosas pruebas: naufragio en la isla de los cíclopes, encuentro con la bruja Circe que transforma a sus hombres en cerdos, descenso al inframundo para consultar al adivino Tiresias, y la tentación de las sirenas. Finalmente, Odiseo llega a Ítaca, pero se presenta como un mendigo para probar la fidelidad de su esposa y sus amigos. Después de ser reconocido por su perro Argos y su nodriza, Odiseo se enfrenta a los pretendientes y los mata, reclamando así su trono y su familia.
