People of the Black Circle
'People of the Black Circle' Summary
Conan, the Cimmerian warrior, finds himself in the heart of Vendhya, a land evocative of ancient India. His journey begins with the kidnapping of a princess from a rival kingdom, a task assigned by the King of Vendhya to protect her from the machinations of the Black Seers of Yimsha, a group of sinister sorcerers with ambitions for global domination. As Conan delves deeper into the Vendhyan court, he uncovers a web of intricate conspiracies, encounters the exotic practices of their magic, and faces formidable adversaries, including the captivating and cunning princess, Yasmela. The story takes an unexpected turn when Conan is forced to confront a dangerous secret – his own involvement in the princess's kidnapping, woven into a grand plan by the Black Seers. With his usual blend of physical prowess and cunning, Conan confronts the Black Seers, their mysterious leader, and their schemes. Through a series of daring actions and perilous encounters, Conan battles not only the Black Seers' magical might but also the machinations of the court and the princess herself. The climax of the story sees Conan's cunning and strength put to the ultimate test as he confronts the source of the Black Seers' power and ultimately unravels their dangerous plot.Book Details
