'Schuss' Summary
Schuss (The Shot) is the story of a young officer, Ivan Petrovich Belkin, who is insulted by a fellow officer, Silvio. Belkin challenges Silvio to a duel, but Silvio refuses to fight him on the spot. Instead, he tells Belkin that he will save his shot for a later time. Years later, Silvio returns to challenge Belkin to the duel, and Belkin must now face the consequences of his past actions. Set in 19th-century Russia, "Schuss" is a tale of honor, revenge, and the consequences of one's actions.Book Details
