'Shadow of the North' Summary
The novel begins with the young men being captured by a group of Indians. They are taken to a remote village and held captive. The men must find a way to escape and return to their own people. Along the way, they encounter a variety of challenges, including a brutal winter, attacks by wild animals, and the constant threat of capture. Despite the challenges, the men never give up hope.
