Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Volume 03

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a historic document that sets out the fundamental rights and freedoms that all human beings are entitled to. Adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948, it has since become the foundation of international human rights law. The Declaration consists of 30 articles that cover a wide range of rights, including the right to life, liberty, and security of person; the right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion; and the right to freedom of expression. It also includes the right to participate in government, to education, and to a fair trial.
