Where the Blue Begins
'Where the Blue Begins' Summary
Gissing, a regular dog with a big brain, gets restless with chasing squirrels and burying bones. He craves a deeper meaning in life, a reason for everything, which he calls "where the blue begins." This quest for understanding sends him on a whirlwind adventure. He juggles the unexpected responsibility of raising three rambunctious puppies, tries out different jobs (because who knows, maybe the answer lies in being a doctor or a lawyer!), and never stops pondering life's biggest questions. Through his hilarious escapades, Gissing might just discover that the answer he seeks might be closer than he thinks.
His journey takes him through hilarious predicaments – from becoming a department store manager to a near-shipwreck on a stolen steamroller. Despite the absurdity, Gissing eventually finds himself back where he began. However, the experience has transformed him. He realizes that the "blue" he sought wasn't a specific location, but the beauty and wonder present in everyday life, even amidst the chaos of raising puppies and failed career changes.
