'Where the Path Breaks' Summary
After being severely injured in battle, a soldier awakens from the brink of death with no memory of his past. As he slowly regains his senses, he is haunted by the face of a woman who married him out of pity on the day he went into battle. Inspired by this face and the vague recollections that are taking shape, the soldier decides to reinvent himself, take on a new name, and seek a new life. However, his past life continues to intrude upon his adopted life, and he must confront the choices he made and the consequences of his actions.Book Details
