'Barraca' Summary
Batiste and his family are poor farmers who move to the Valencian countryside to work on abandoned land. They are met with hostility by the local landowners, who do not want them to succeed. Despite the challenges, Batiste and his family work hard to build a new life for themselves. However, they are eventually forced to abandon their land and return to poverty.Book Details
