Bible (YLT) NT 09: Epistle to the Galatians
by Young's Literal Translation
'Bible (YLT) NT 09: Epistle to the Galatians' Summary
The Epistle to the Galatians begins with Paul's defense of his apostolic authority. He argues that he was not appointed by men, but by Jesus Christ himself. He then goes on to explain the doctrine of justification by faith alone. He argues that we cannot be saved by our own good works, but only by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. Paul also emphasizes the importance of living a life in accordance with the Spirit, and he warns against the dangers of legalism and self-righteousness.Book Details
