Child of Storm
'Child of Storm' Summary
In the untamed wilderness of Zululand in the mid-1800s, renowned hunter Allan Quatermain finds himself entangled in a maelstrom of political intrigue and personal turmoil. Tasked with hunting a rogue elephant, Quatermain stumbles upon Mameema, a captivating African girl whose beauty and spirit captivate him. Unbeknownst to them, Mameema is also the object of desire for both Cetshwayo and Umbelazi, rival sons of the Zulu king. As Quatermain delves deeper into the heart of Zululand, he becomes a witness to the bitter struggle for power between the two princes, a conflict that threatens to tear the kingdom apart. Quatermain's presence further complicates matters, as his involvement with Mameema sets off a chain reaction of events with far-reaching consequences. The novel culminates in the epic Battle of Ndondakusuka, a clash of armies that will shape the destiny of the Zulu nation forever.Book Details
