Criterio

by Jaime Balmes

This book explores the nature of human reason, passion, and virtue. It argues that reason is essential for understanding the world and making good decisions, but that it must be tempered by passion in order to be effective. It also argues that the will is the key to moral action, and that it must be guided by reason and religion in order to achieve its full potential.
