Dangerous Connections follows the machinations of the Marquise de Merteuil, a woman scorned and determined to wreak havoc on the lives of those around her. She enlists the help of the Vicomte de Valmont, a man known for his seductive prowess, to seduce and ruin the virtuous Présidente de Tourvel, a woman who has rejected Valmont's advances. Their cruel game ensnares Cécile de Volanges, a young and naive girl who becomes a pawn in their elaborate scheme.
