'Divina Commedia - Il Purgatorio' Summary
Dopo aver attraversato l'Inferno, Dante, guidato da Virgilio, inizia la sua ascesa sul Monte del Purgatorio. Qui, le anime peccatrici espiano le loro colpe in diversi cerchi, purificandosi per raggiungere il Paradiso. Dante incontra figure bibliche, mitologiche e storiche, ognuna simbolo di un peccato o virtù particolare. La montagna si divide in nove cerchi, corrispondenti ai sette peccati capitali e due ulteriori cerchi di purificazione. Ogni cerchio è caratterizzato da un tipo specifico di sofferenza e da una particolare virtù che l'anima deve coltivare. Durante il viaggio, Dante affronta tentazioni e dubbi, ma la sua fede e la guida di Virgilio lo aiutano a proseguire. Infine, giunge al Paradiso Terrestre, dove incontra Beatrice, la sua musa ispiratrice, che lo guiderà nel Paradiso Celeste nella terza parte della Divina Commedia.Book Details
