'Double Dealer' Summary
The play centers on a love triangle involving Mellefont, Cynthia, and Maskwell. Mellefont and Cynthia are in love, but Maskwell, a villainous friend of Mellefont's, is also in love with Cynthia. Maskwell plots to keep Mellefont and Cynthia apart, and he eventually succeeds in marrying Cynthia himself. However, his triumph is short-lived, as Mellefont eventually exposes Maskwell's treachery and wins back Cynthia's love.Book Details
