'Freckles' Summary
Freckles, an orphan with a disability, finds solace and a sense of belonging in the wild Limberlost Swamp. He works as a guard, protecting the valuable timber, and falls in love with the beauty of nature, the animals that inhabit the swamp, and a mysterious girl he calls the 'Swamp Angel.'
