'Libro VI de la Historia de Heródoto' Summary
El Libro VI de la Historia de Heródoto relata la continuación de la lucha entre los griegos y los persas. Histieo, el tirano de Mileto, continúa incitando a los jonios a rebelarse contra el dominio persa. Sin embargo, la rebelión fracasa y Mileto es conquistada por los persas. Tras la caída de Mileto, la armada persa se dirige a Atenas, pero una fuerte tormenta la destruye. La victoria griega se consolida en la batalla de Maratón, donde las fuerzas griegas, lideradas por Milcíades, derrotan decisivamente al ejército persa. A pesar de la victoria, Milcíades es acusado de traición por su fallido ataque a la isla de Paros. Es absuelto gracias a su anterior conquista de Lemnos.
