'Lord Peter Views The Body' Summary
Lord Peter Views the Body is set in the English countryside during the 1920s. Phyllis Denton, a young woman from a wealthy family, is found dead in her bedroom. The police are baffled by her murder, but Lord Peter Wimsey takes on the case. Wimsey quickly discovers that Phyllis was involved in a number of scandalous affairs, and he begins to suspect that her murder was motivated by revenge.
