Mating in the Wilds
'Mating in the Wilds' Summary
Stane, a former English convict seeking a fresh start, lives a solitary life as a trapper in the North Woods. He is haunted by the past and suspects his old friend Ainley may be involved in his wrongful imprisonment. When he encounters Ainley at a trading post, along with Miskodeed, a beautiful Native American woman, and Helen, the niece of a high-ranking company official, his solitude is shattered. Helen's mysterious disappearance sets in motion a chain of events that forces Stane to confront his past and his feelings for Miskodeed. As Ainley desperately searches for Helen, their journey through the unforgiving wilderness becomes a test of courage, resilience, and the strength of their bonds. In the face of danger and the harsh realities of the North Woods, Stane must reconcile with his past, make choices about his future, and ultimately decide where his loyalties lie.Book Details
