Penal Cluster
'Penal Cluster' Summary
In a dystopian future, the discovery of telepathic abilities has triggered a wave of fear and repression. Earth's government, convinced of the inherent danger posed by telepaths, enforces a draconian policy: exiling them to an asteroid in the distant reaches of space. These exiles, deemed 'psychodeviants', are chained to the asteroid, their minds rendered dormant, and left to drift in the void. The story centers around a seemingly ordinary individual who is suspected of possessing telepathic powers. As the Psychodeviant Police investigate this individual, they unearth a complex web of secrets and uncover a truth that could shatter the foundations of their society. The narrative delves into the ethical complexities of controlling an unusual ability, the social consequences of fear and prejudice, and the individual's struggle for freedom and self-determination in the face of a repressive regime.Book Details
