'People of the Mist' Summary
Leonard Outram, a penniless adventurer, sets out to reclaim his lost family fortune in Africa. He rescues Juanna Rodd, a young Portuguese woman, from slavery, and together they seek the legendary People of the Mist, said to possess a fabulous treasure. Along the way, they become entangled in the political struggles of the lost race and must navigate treacherous terrain and dangerous encounters to survive.
