'prisionero de Zenda' Summary
Rudolf Rassendyll, an English gentleman, finds himself in Ruritania during the coronation of King Rudolf V. Astonishingly, Rassendyll is a dead ringer for the king, a fact that becomes crucial when the king is kidnapped by his ambitious brother, Duke Michael. Forced to assume the king's identity, Rassendyll is plunged into the heart of a treacherous plot to seize the throne. He must navigate a complex web of conspiracies, deception, and dangerous characters, including the king's betrothed, the beautiful Princess Flavia. As Rassendyll struggles to safeguard the king and maintain the stability of the kingdom, he finds himself increasingly drawn to the princess, blurring the lines between his assumed identity and his true self. The story culminates in a thrilling climax where Rassendyll must use his wit and courage to expose the duke's treachery and secure the rightful heir's place on the throne, while his affections for the princess become a powerful factor in his decisions.Book Details
