Nestled amidst the secluded mountains, Schloss Vogelöd, an ancient manor, plays host to an enigmatic hunting party. As the elite guests gather for days of thrilling pursuit, a dark shadow looms over the festivities. Rumors abound regarding the host, Count Oetsch, and his alleged involvement in the murder of his own brother. Among the attendees is the enigmatic Baroness Safferstätt, the deceased brother's widow, her presence stirring unease and anticipation. Through the eyes of the hosts, the von Vogelschreys, and the other guests, the events unfold, revealing a web of deceit, forbidden desires, and long-buried secrets that threaten to shatter the fragile facade of this aristocratic gathering.
