Westminster Alice
'Westminster Alice' Summary
Westminster Alice is a satirical take on British politics, using the familiar characters and settings of Alice in Wonderland. Alice finds herself in a strange and unfamiliar world where the rules of politics are just as nonsensical as the rules of Wonderland. She encounters a cast of characters, including the Red Queen, the White Rabbit, and the Mad Hatter, who all represent different aspects of the British political system. Through Alice's adventures, Saki satirizes the absurdities and hypocrisies of British politics, showing how the pursuit of power and self-interest often leads to ridiculous and nonsensical outcomes.Book Details
