'Alice Dugdale' Summary
Alice Dugdale, a young woman living in a small village, is engaged to John, a kind and hardworking man. However, their plans for the future are threatened when John is noticed by Lady Arabella Trefoil, a wealthy and influential noblewoman. Lady Arabella sets her sights on John, and he is flattered by her attention. As John spends more and more time with Lady Arabella, Alice begins to worry that he is falling in love with her. Torn between her love for John and her fear of losing him, Alice must decide what is truly important to her.Book Details
