'Bride of Lammermoor' Summary
The Bride of Lammermoor tells the story of Lucy Ashton, a young woman from a wealthy and powerful family, and Edgar Ravenswood, a poor but proud landowner. Their love is forbidden by Lucy's family, who are determined to marry her to a wealthier suitor.
