'Cid' Summary
« Le Cid » est une pièce de théâtre classique française écrite par Pierre Corneille. C’est une histoire d’amour tragique qui se déroule dans l’Espagne du XIe siècle. La pièce raconte l’histoire de Don Rodrigue, un jeune noble qui est forcé de choisir entre son amour pour Chimène et son devoir de venger l’honneur de son père. Lorsque le père de Chimène, Don Gomès, insulte Don Diègue, le père de Rodrigue, ce dernier défie Gomès en duel et le tue. Cela déclenche une série d’événements qui conduisent à l’exil de Rodrigue et au vœu de Chimène de venger la mort de son père. « Le Cid » est une pièce puissante et émouvante qui explore les thèmes de l’amour, de l’honneur, du devoir et de la vengeance.Book Details
