Frank Merriwell's Trust is a novel written by Gilbert Patten, under the pseudonym Burt L. Standish. It is part of the series of books featuring the character Frank Merriwell, a fictional all-American college student and sportsman. The series was popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and followed Frank's adventures at Yale University and his many athletic accomplishments. The books in the series often emphasized themes of fair play, honesty, and good sportsmanship. It's also a part of dime novels which is an American form of popular fiction that flourished from the late 19th century to the mid 20th century. The stories in dime novels were typically set in the American West or in the urban slums of the East, and featured rough-and-tumble heroes who battled villains, saved damsels in distress, and struggled to make their fortunes.
Frank Merriwell is from Yale he excelled at football, baseball, basketball, crew and track at Yale while solving mysteries and righting wrongs the stories show how he handles a number of challenges that come his way.
