'Gullivers Reisen' Summary
Lemuel Gulliver, a ship's surgeon, sets out on a series of extraordinary voyages that take him to strange and wonderful lands. In Lilliput, he encounters a race of tiny people who live in constant fear of their giant neighbors. In Brobdingnag, he becomes a plaything to a race of giants. And in Laputa, he visits a floating island inhabited by scientists who are so preoccupied with their studies that they ignore the real world. Through these encounters, Gulliver learns valuable lessons about himself and about the nature of humanity.Book Details
