Herb of Grace
'Herb of Grace' Summary
Malcolm Herrick, a lawyer, is successful, well-liked, and deeply devoted to his family and friends. However, he harbors a longing for something more. He dreams of becoming a poet or artist, of escaping the confines of his city life for the tranquility of the countryside, and of finding a love that goes beyond mere friendship. He finds himself drawn to Elizabeth Templeton, the sister of his best friend. But Malcolm faces a dilemma: his duty to his mother, his obligations to his friends, and the expectations of his social circle. As Malcolm struggles to reconcile his desires with his responsibilities, he discovers the importance of following his heart, even if it means making sacrifices. The story explores the complexities of love, friendship, and the journey of self-discovery, as Malcolm navigates the challenges of finding his place in the world and embracing the true desires of his soul.Book Details
