'Jane Eyre: An Autobiography' Summary
Orphaned Jane Eyre is mistreated by her aunt and sent to a boarding school, where she excels in her studies and becomes a teacher. She leaves to become a governess at Thornfield Hall, where she falls in love with the enigmatic owner, Mr. Rochester. However, Rochester harbors a dark secret that threatens their happiness, and Jane flees. After a period of wandering, she reunites with Rochester, who has lost his sight and Thornfield in a fire. Despite Rochester's changed circumstances, Jane's love for him remains strong, and they marry. Rochester's eyesight is later restored, and they live happily together.Book Details
