Machine that Saved the World
'Machine that Saved the World' Summary
In the year 1972, Staff Sergeant Bellews, stationed at a top-secret military installation, is an expert on a revolutionary new technology: machines that learn from their experiences. As he fine-tunes this breakthrough, the world is plunged into chaos by mysterious, destructive broadcasts from space. The transmissions target and disable any receiver they encounter, leaving Earth vulnerable and isolated. Bellews becomes entangled in the investigation as these broadcasts begin targeting his own advanced machines, turning his personal pride into a desperate race against time. As the threats intensify, Bellews discovers that the broadcasts are not just a chaotic force, but an intelligent enemy that is evolving and adapting to counter every defensive measure thrown against it. The fate of humanity hinges on Bellews's ability to understand the enemy, unravel its motives, and find a way to defend the world from this devastating force.Book Details
