'Sitio de Sebastopol' Summary
Los tres relatos que conforman “El Sitio de Sebastopol” son: “Sebastopol en diciembre”, “Sebastopol en mayo” y “Sebastopol en agosto”. Cada uno de estos relatos nos ofrece un punto de vista diferente sobre la guerra: el primero se centra en el asedio, el segundo en el sufrimiento de la población civil, y el tercero en la batalla final. A través de sus personajes, Tolstói describe la dureza de la guerra y la profunda humanidad que surge en momentos de peligro. El primer relato, “Sebastopol en diciembre”, se centra en un oficial que lucha contra el miedo al morir. El segundo relato, “Sebastopol en mayo”, describe el sufrimiento de los habitantes de la ciudad mientras los bombardeos de la artillería enemiga destrozan la ciudad.
