'Zaragoza' Summary
“Zaragoza” es la sexta novela de la serie “Episodios Nacionales” de Benito Pérez Galdós. Tras su fallido intento de rescatar a su amada Inés, Gabriel de Araceli es capturado por las fuerzas francesas y obligado a marchar hacia Francia junto a otros prisioneros. La novela se centra en la batalla por Zaragoza, una ciudad que se enfrentó con valentía y determinación al ejército francés durante la Guerra de la Independencia. Galdós relata el sufrimiento y las dificultades que enfrentaron los habitantes de Zaragoza, pero también la fuerza y la unidad que mostraron al defender su ciudad. La novela describe la resistencia del pueblo español frente a la ocupación francesa, su lucha por la libertad y su determinación por defender su tierra.
