'Kloster bei Sendomir' Summary
Two knights arrive late at night at the monastery of Sendomir and ask for shelter, which is granted to them. From a monk they learn that the monastery has only existed for 30 years, and when asked, he tells them the tragic story of the founder of the monastery, Count Starschensky. The count had been a cruel and tyrannical man who had killed his wife in a fit of rage. After his death, his ghost was said to haunt the monastery, seeking vengeance on those who had wronged him.Book Details
