John Newcomb is broke and looking for work. However, there is a sum of $30,000 waiting for him upon marriage. Mr. Newcomb wants to find love and settle down, but he does not care a great deal about the money, and certainly does not want to get married just for the sake of getting rich. A lovely cast of characters filled with virtue and morality are the forefront of this uplifting tale.
