Pathfinder - The Inland Sea
'Pathfinder - The Inland Sea' Summary
Set in the forests of upstate New York during the French and Indian War, Pathfinder follows the story of Natty Bumppo, a skilled frontiersman and guide who is hired to lead a group of travelers to Fort Oswego. Among the travelers is Mable Dunham, the daughter of a British sergeant, who is being pursued by two other suitors. As the group journeys through the wilderness, they face danger from both the French and the Native Americans. Pathfinder's skills as a hunter and tracker are put to the test as he tries to protect his charges. Along the way, he also falls in love with Mable, but their relationship is complicated by the presence of her other suitors. In the end, Pathfinder must choose between his duty to his friends and his love for Mable.Book Details
